Oxford and Cambridge Summer School 2011- Days 12&13

On the final day of the summer school, all the students had their final tutorial with their tutors. They all had feedback from their tutors on the essays and projects they’d worked so hard for throughout the week.
After lunch, the students went down to University Parks to play football and take part in some filming for our Youtube video which you can see here.

The best part of the day was the farewell supper and graduation. We had a feast up at Staverton Road, with the whole building decked out in O&CSS colours. The tutors came along and received lovely cards from their students. All the students were given a copy of our great Summer School Review and filled the backs with notes from one another. Prize giving was very eventful, with prizes ranging from the best at punting which went to Carl, the undisputed champion, to the most likely to be a spy in later life, which was bestowed upon Bogdan for being a master of disguise and enigmatic appointments.

It was also a sad occasion as the summer school drew to a close and all of us at Oxford & Cambridge Summer School were very sad to feel the summer school drawing to a close.

Good luck to all our students and keep in touch!
